What is SuperTuf?

SuperTuf is the expression of our knowledge of materials,
manufacturing processes and heat treatments applied to a
specific part so that the part represents the pinnacle in
value to the customer.
By carefully choosing the optimal steel from a large selection
of materials available and then processing that steel in a way
that enhances its effectiveness, we then choose a
heat treating process that completes the part as “fit for
duty.” While the steel, processes and heat treatment may be
very different for a folded cup knife as compared to a scarifier shank, the process of making the right choices is
common to both. Another good example is the milled edge rotary
cutter blade, where the selection of processes make this
family of parts stand out from the competition.
Controlling all of the above is a
certified ISO 9001:2008
system that insures existing processes are followed and that
continuous improvement is a way of life. Both the Beall plant
in East Alton, Illinois and the CSI plant in McKenzie,
Tennessee are certified.
By taking all that Beall has learned from more than 100 years in
the business of making steel components and combining that
with knowledge learned from the acquisition of product lines
from Winamac, Nixdorff and Lund L & G, we have a portfolio of
knowledge that is unsurpassed in this field. It is the
controlled application of all this knowledge that earns a part
the right to the designation of
SuperTuf®!
